Swing The Swing-Away Flex Hopper, standard on all models, is designed to keep the Hopper in a horizontal position at all operating angles even when the main auger tube is fully elevated. The hopper can be operated and transported from either side of the main auger, and is transported in a vertical position for easy cleanout. The Swing-Away is available in 8" - 3200 BPH, 10" - 4500 BPH and 12" - 7000 BPH and with lengths from 52' to 82'. Choose from Gear or Hydraulic drive. Century II - Portable Grain Auger When quality counts, Hutchinson delivers with the most impressive
collection of operating and construction features available on any
portable grain auger today. The Century II Portable Grain Auger
provides maximum intake capacity, 6" - 2000 BPH, 8" -
3200 BPH, 10" - 4500 BPH, 12" - 5500 BPH, and available
in lengths from 31' to 81'. The main tube of the Century II is a durable galvanized finish, the most durable on the market. The sealed oil bath drive (on 6", 8" and 10" models) adds years of life to the drive chain and sprocket as a result of constant self-lubrication. Solid steel drivelines are supported by low maintenance sealed bearings. The wide wheel base undercarriage has a scissor type design for greater strength and stability, and slides on four nylon rollers for smooth operation and reduced winch load. These features provide years of working dependability. Choose between PTO or Electric Drive. The Century II features a manual lift undercarriage as standard equipment. Mid-Drive We've combined operational efficiency with a premium quality, galvanized auger that features one of the industry's lowest maintenance track records. Hutchinson's Mid-Drive Portable Auger is designed for minimal maintenance and economical operation, delivering high performance at an affordable price. The unique design feature is the internal gearbox mounted inside an expanded bell shaped housing. This allows unobstructed grain flow past the gear box which proves to be economical and low maintenance in operation. A new intake design utilizes double flighting and a cupped intake guard for high capacity and excellent cleanout capabilities. A specially engineered hopper bolts directly on top of the intake guard, further enhancing the auger's capacity. The wide stance undercarriage has a simple but dependable design with tapered roller wheel bearings for increased towing capability, available in either manual or hydraulic lift. All three models of the Mid-Drive Auger have the capacity to meet your growing needs: 6" - 2000 BPH, 8" - 3200 BPH, 10" - 4500 BPH, and 12" - 7000 BPH, and lengths from 32' to 82'. Hutch Hopper with Flex Angle The Hutch Hopper provides the ultimate in convenience and versatility by adding the Flex Angle incline adjustment. The Flex Angle feature allows the incline tube to be adjusted to reach the appropriate discharge height for convenient and fast unloading. This allows the Hopper to be used in various applications such as feeding portable augers, cleaners or anything with a high intake or otherwise limited access. The low clearance allows pickup from horizontal bin unloaders,
gravity wagons, hopper bottom semi-trucks or other applications.
Wheels from the hopper can be positioned to allow forward or side-to-side
movement. Special length inclined sections may also be ordered.
Mass-ter Mover The Mass-ter Mover Portable Auger provides a portable alternative to the bucket elevator. This high capacity unit (5,000 BPH) performs by moving materials by way of a continuous chain and paddle. Conveyance comes from grain pushing grain; the en-masse concept. By moving grain through the full lower chamber, damage to material is minimal due to no pinch points. The heart of the system is the 81x industrial roller chain and 3/8" thick UHMW paddles. This unique paddle system design allows the Mass-ter Mover to operate at various inclines. Energy savings of up to 30% can be gained with our unique paddle propulsion system. It does the job using less horsepower than most screw type conveyors. The housing is constructed of heavy gauge galvanized steel, the most durable finish on the market.
