Thousands of lb-ft (kg-m) of torque are available to remove rod
guide retaining caps, plugs and cap bolts. Tons of hydraulic force
are available to extract piston rods from cylinder barrels...And
depending upon which of the HCS Series machines selected, there
is up to 60,000 lb-ft (8298 kg-m) of torque to remove and replace
piston retaining nuts.

Centerline Mounting
Centerline mounting makes it possible to manually or hydraulically
rotate the cylinder barrel either clockwise or counterclockwise
around the stationary rod thus providing high torque to remove threaded
caps, cap bolts and piston retaining nuts.
Built-In Universal Spanner Wrench
The Universal Spanner Wrench connects to all retaining cap slots
or holes thus allowing barrel rotation to quickly remove the retainer.
Chain wrenches and conventional spanner wrenches are not required.
T-Slot Securing System
Tuxco's T-slot design provides a safe and secure way of quickly
mounting both ends of a hydraulic cylinder to the servicer. The
T-slots hold a wide range of Tuxco mounting adapters, tools and
accessories to make the toughest job easy.
Universal High Torque Wrench
This tool attaches quickly to all conventional hex and square piston
retaining nuts from 2-1/2" to 4-1/2" (63.5 to 114 mm.)
across the flats. It is built to withstand up to 25,000 lb-ft (3457
kg-m) of torque and eliminates the need for buying expensive high
torque sockets. A wrench with a 4" to 6-1/2" capacity
is also available.
Adjustable Support Stands
Both barrel and piston dual rod support stands provide micrometer-like
vertical, horizontal and diagonal adjustment that helps eliminate
seal damage on reassembly and assures repair integrity.
Easy To Read Torque Gauges
Large, liquid-filled gauge directly reads torque. It monitors and
records disassembly torque, assuring that cylinders are reassembled
to factory torque specifications.

All Tuxco Corporation Hydraulic Cylinder Servicers share the features

the limited requirements of repair facilities that provide important,
but only sporadic cylinder service and there are models available
for those that repair hundreds of cylinders per month.

HCS-2520 HYDRAULIC CYLINDER SERVICER
This model is essentially a manual machine that utilizes spring
return hydraulic rams to provide high torque and high rod extraction
force. It will service a wide range of cylinder sizes where speed
is not a primary concern. It utilizes compressed air to provide
hydraulic power and thus requires no electricity. This makes the
Model-2520 ideal for some export markets or where volatile atmospheres
are present. Will service all current CAT cylinders.

nut runner to provide maximum productivity for the busy repair facility.

HCS-60 HYDRAULIC CYLINDER SERVICER
This model, shown at the beginning of this section, is equipped
with a 7 1/2 HP Hydraulic Power Supply that powers seven hydraulic
functions that provide maximum productivity and ease of operation.
There are two hydraulic torquing devices, one for removing threaded
cylinder caps and highly torqued cap bolts, the other for removing
highly torqued piston retaining nuts. A high torque hydraulic nut
runner is also provided. Set up functions are hydraulically assisted.
Will service all current CAT cylinders.
