Completely Self-Contained

All you need for high-speed, high-quality grain drying is a GT recirculating batch grain dryer, a tractor (45-50 HP) for PTO drive, and propane. Average set-up time is 30 minutes.

1. The Loading Hopper eliminates the need for separate augers. You can load your dryer directly from your truck or grain wagon.

2. One 12" auger on your dryer recirculates and unloads your grain gently. Low 275 RPM operation keeps the grain column full for controlled, even drying. Seamless tube and spin-balanced auger with heavy duty flighting reduce wear and mechanical fatigue.

3. Your dryer's built-in grain sampler collects grain for moisture testing from the center of the grain column.

4. Your dryer is completely portable for easy transport anywhere - work, yard, or field. Tires and hitch are standard components. The top section of the auger removes easily. The loading hopper folds up for out-of-the-way storage or transport.

5. Centrally located controls on your dryer provide complete control of the drying process from one location. Additional gauges or monitors are not needed.

Uniform Drydown

6. Your dryer comes with a round bin design which evenly distributes heated air for uniform drying of any crop. Hot and cold air pockets are eliminated. The grain flows smoothly, since it dries without bridging.

7. A perforated (3/32") inner chamber distributes heated air evenly through the grain column. Heavy duty formed skirts provide greater durability.

8. Positive agitator arms keep grain moving downward into the central auger at a slow, gentle rate of 8 RPM Grain is in constant motion during the entire drying process. Convex rollers guide the agitator arms for trouble-free operation.

All-Weather Drying

9. The built-in vaporizer allows accurate, fuel efficient drydown, even in sub-freezing temperatures. GT's specifically designed vaporizer "pulls" liquid propane from the bottom of the tank and converts it to vapor.

10. An efficient stainless steel, ring burner assembly that keeps drying costs to a minimum, comes as a standard feature on every GT Dryer. This delivers evenly heated air to the drying chamber at constant temperatures.

Safe, Accurate Drydown

11. Complete drying control is assured. Once you set your dryer for a specific maximum grain temperature, the dryer automatically shuts off when the set temperature is reached - load after load, even when beginning moisture content varies with each load.

Quality Built, Simple to Service

12. Your dryer comes with a service access door that slides up and out for monitoring of the agitator drive.

13. Modular access panels on the power frame offer you quick access to plumbing and electrical controls.

14. A central lube location makes lubrication maintenance a breeze. One central location provides access to all lubrication points except for the tumbler shafts.

15. A fan clutch allows you to disengage the fan at any time. This feature is especially beneficial while loading and unloading.

16. A ladder kit you can mount to the outside wall is part of the standard equipment for your dryer, allowing you handy access to the top of the machine.

17. Vertical Unloading Head. With this feature on your dryer, a single quarter-turn of the head baffle redirects the grain from recirulating to unloading.

18. Horizontal Unloading Head. Simplifies unloading by eliminating hand-turning of the discharge spout. A flip of the tractor's hydraulic control lever quickly unloads the dryer. With the hydraulic power head installed, the dryer has greater clearance for use under shelter, for out-of-season storage, or for transport.

Electric Motor Side Mount Kit. Converts your dryer from PTO to electric power. One 25 HP motor is all the power you need.

Adjustable Jacks. Permits easy leveling of your dryer on uneven surfaces.

Patented Grain Cleaner Attachment. Removes cracked grain, fines, chaff, and weed seed. Your grain is gently cleaned since the attachment has no moving parts. After installation, the cleaner will remove foreign matter as you dry. This inexpensive option eliminates the expense and trouble of additional cleaning.

Flexible Unloading Spout. Delivers grain where you want it without spillage. It is ideal for unloading your dryer into an auger hopper or auger pit.
